Griz crush Bengals 76-40

The Montana Grizzly men's basketball team moved into a tie for first place in the Big Sky Conference with a decisive 76-40 win over the visiting Idaho State Bengals on Monday night in Missoula.
Junior guard Will Cherry led the way with 21 points and 3 steals and senior Derek Selvig was a force inside as he blocked 6 shots and dished out 8 assists to go with his 5 points. Art Steward had 14 points for Montana (10-1, 17-6) and Kareem Jamar added 13 points and 8 rebounds. The Bengals fall to (6-5) in the Big Sky and (8-13) overall.
