Running of the Bulls in its second week

Finally one of the great events for adrenaline junkies is in its second week as tens of thousands of people have flocked, or maybe staggered, to Pamplona, Spain for the San Fermin Festival and the Running of the Bulls.

The event was made legendary by author Ernest Hemingway, but word has it he never actually ran with the bulls himself. If your idea of fun is drinking sangria all night and then having a 1,200 pound bull chase you down a narrow street in Spain with 2,000 other crazed fools – then this is the sporting event for you. As usual, several tourists have been gored this year which just adds to the excitement. The festival runs through this week so you still have time to join the million or so other fools over in Spain for the Running of the Bulls.
