Bighorns beat Bulls 5-1 in AWHL Playoffs

The Helena Bighorns won a hard fought Game #1 of their AWHL Playoffs with the Billings Bull 5-1 on Tuesday night in Helena.

Drew Ingram got the Bighorns on the board in the 1st period when he scored a shorthanded goal to make it 1-0 Helena. Wyatt Winfield made it 2-0 in the 2nd period but Billings cut the lead in half with on a goal by Paul Hoffman. Helena broke the game open in the final stanza getting 3 unanswered goals to win it 5-1. The two teams meet again on Wednesday night at 7PM down in the Magic City. Game #3 will be played in Helena on Friday night at 7:05PM at the Helena Ice Arena.
