Saints' Garland & Cutler continue to shine on hardwoods
The Carroll College men's basketball team split a pair of games in Frontier Conference play this past week beating the University of Great Falls on Friday and then lost to MSU Northern on Saturday.
Two guys who've really been playing well for Carroll are Andy Garland and Ben Cutler. Garland averaged 21 points and 9 boards this weekend and cutler pumped in 22 points in both games and went 11 of 16 from the 3 point stripe.
“Those two guys are playing with a lot of confidence right now and to our other players credits they recognize when those two are playing real well and they give them the ball in areas where these two guys can have success. Vutler is shooting the ball from the perimeter as well as any player we've had here in the 9 years that I’ve been here and Andy is just really coming into his own,” Carroll Men's Head Basketball Coach, Brandon Veltri.
This is the final week of the Frontier Conference regular season as the Saints men and women will host Montana Tech on Thursday night and UM Western on Saturday on senior night.
