Facebook moves to dismiss NY man's ownership claim
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- Attorneys for Facebook are asking a judge to dismiss a
New York man's lawsuit claiming half-ownership of the social networking site.
The request comes in papers filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Buffalo.
Attorneys for Menlo Park, Calif.-based Facebook and its founder Mark Zuckerberg
say they've proved over several months that the two-page contract and emails
on which Paul Ceglia's lawsuit are based are fraudulent.
Ceglia's lead attorney, Dean Boland, says the lawsuit can't be dismissed just
because the findings of Facebook's experts contradict those of Ceglia's experts.
Boland says he will have an additional response later in the day after he has
time to read the whole filing.
