Gov. Bullock presents his first State of State Address

Tonight Governor Steve Bullock is giving his first State of the State Address at the Capitol.

The Capitol has been a busy place today preparing for the Governor’s first State of the State Address.  Tonight mark's the Governor's first State of State Address that he will be presenting to law makers.

The Governor’s office says Bullock will talk about his plans to create jobs, grow educational opportunities and set up a more effective government.  After the speech, speaker of the house pro tempore, Representative Austin Knudsen from Culbertson will deliver the Republican response to the speech.

Now at the Capitol, 75 elected officials from across the state are starting to show up to the event.  Among them are VIP state directors and several other distinguished guests.

Security at the Capitol has been revved up as well.  Private, House and Senate security guards are currently patrolling the Capitol grounds.
