Tyrell Smith prepares for NFR Thursday night
A Cascade man is preparing for what he says, is the biggest rodeo of his life.
Tyrell smith will represent Montana tomorrow at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Smith is a saddle bronc rider who has been participating in rodeo his entire life. He says it even runs in his family, his dad also competed in the NFR nearly 20 years ago. Smith says he couldn't be more excited to fulfill a life-long goal.
Smith says, "Biggest rodeo of my life my really. Kind of something I have dreamt about since I was little, and I finally get the opportunity, it's pretty exciting."
Smith is ranked #15 going into tomorrow night's event. Helena's Chase Tryan will also compete at the NFR.
