Teen told investigators he wanted parents dead
MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) -- A 16-year-old Lake County boy charged stabbings last
week that left his mother critically injured and her boyfriend dead told investigators
that he had been thinking about "hurting his mom and dad" and wanted them
dead.
The Missoulian reports the Arlee boy is being held at the Missoula County
detention center with his bail set at $250,000.
He is charged with deliberate homicide in the death of 51-year-old John Fisher
and with attempted deliberate homicide after his mother, Dacia Marie Vollin,
was stabbed in the throat. Another man who lived at the house was stabbed once
with a pocket knife.
Court records say the boy told investigators he stabbed his mother numerous
times early on Nov. 12 and stabbed Fisher with another knife until the blade broke off.
