Here's a look at some of the other major fires burning across Montana.

The Ash Creek Fire in southeastern Montana has exploded to more than 110,000 acres and burned 18 homes. South of Roundup the Dahl Fire has burned more than 18,000 acres and 60 homes. The Pony Fire northwest of Pony is at 6,400 acres. And the Bear Trap 2 west of Bozeman is at 3,000.

The cause of the Bear Trap 2 is said to be accidental, while causes for the others are still being investigated.
