Man pleads not guilty after motorcycle collision
HAMILTON, Mont. (AP) -- A man who police say ran into a motorcyclist during a
road rage incident has pleaded not guilty to felony assault with a weapon and
felony criminal endangerment.
The Ravalli Republic reports that Jason Nathaniel Gerrard of Victor made the plea
Thursday in Ravalli County District Court.
Witnesses tell police that Gerrard appeared to swerve intentionally into the
path of the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was thrown from the machine, but
reported sustaining only minor injuries.
Gerrard says he tried to avoid the motorcycle but they both swerved the same
way.
