Democratic Senator Jon Tester was at the Secretary of State's office in the capitol today to file his papers for the highly anticipated US senate race.

The incumbent says the country is finally recovering from the worst economic times since the great depression and that Washington needs the perspective of a Montana farmer to help keep congress accountable.

"We gotta stick with the facts. We've got a great record of accomplishment. We've done a lot of good things in the last five it'll be six years by the time election rolls around and we can't let the negative ads that their running against me affect us. They've already spent far in excess of a million dollars already trying to make me into something I'm not. So we just gotta deal with the facts," says Tester.

Two other candidates have officially filed with the Secretary of State for the senate race they are Denny Rehberg, and Dennis Teske both republicans.
