Transfer Station Recycling Area Relocated

The Helena Transfer Station has relocated the recycling area as a way to increase efficiency.

The new location is on the northeast side of the facility, bordering Centennial Park.  It includes a new covered structure for oil and anti-freeze.  Traffic into the area will flow one-way, which employees say will make drop-off faster and easier.  The structure cost $80,000, and includes twice as many of drop-off containers than the old area.
