The Helena Ranger District is temporarily closing parts of Banner Creek Road in Rimini due to mine waste clean-up

Banner Creek Road will be closed in the Tenmile Creek area 7:00am to 7:00pm weekdays through October, to make way for trucks removing mine waste from Rimini.  Traffic will be directed through pilot cars, and the roads will be open on weekends and holidays.  The project is being led by the Environmental Protection Agency, which is moving the waste to the Luttrell Regional Mine Waste Repository.
