Helena woman accused of breaking terms of sentencing appears in court
A Helena woman accused of violating the terms of her previous sentencing, by fleeing the state and leading law enforcement on a lengthy missing persons search, made her first appearance in Lewis and Clark County Court today.
The state has filed a petition to revoke the previous sentencing of Angelica Melody Gray. Gray was initially faced with a 3 year deferred sentence and a 2 year deferred sentence on 2 separate counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. If the state finds she has violated the conditions of her sentencing, she faces a maximum penalty of 5 years in Montana Women's Prison for each count. Her initial appearance is set to continue next week.
