Tonight Saint Paul's Methodist Church hosted the 25th Annual Hearts and Humans Art Show benefiting the Lewis and Clark AIDS Project.

The funds raised at the silent auction will go directly to members in the community living with HIV and AIDS.  Organizer of Art Robbie Marcoux says the event is a success since 100 more pieces of art were donated this year than last year.  Co-chair of the Hearts and Humans for the Lewis and Clark Aids Project, Charlotte Fuson, says the event is important for several reasons.

Fuson says, "We do raise money for direct service and that’s really important to us and the other thing is that this is an educational opportunity to let people know that aids and HIV is still active and is a problem in our community as it is nationwide."

Marcoux says last year the event raised $6,000 and with the additional art this year she hopes the number increases to at least $7,000.
