Helena woman dies in crash near Elliston

HELENA, Mont. (AP) -- A 21-year-old Helena woman has died in a single-vehicle
rollover near Elliston.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the woman was westbound on U.S. Highway 12 at
about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday when she lost control of her car while traveling
downhill on a right hand curve. The car slid off the snowpacked road, rolled over a
snowbank and came to rest on the driver's side.
The patrol says the woman was wearing a seatbelt, but was traveling too fast
for conditions. Her name has not been released.
