15th Annual Toys for Tots fundraiser

An annual pool tournament is supporting local Toys for Tots efforts.

For 15 years, the Valley Hub has hosted a pool tournament benefiting the local Toys for Tots.  A feat Owner, Tamara Liab says she didn't expect to achieve.

Liab says, "I never looked at it long range it's just year by year and now I look forward to just keeping it going till we get too old"

Lynda Johnson, coordinator of the tournament, says her late husband, a Vietnam Veteran, was the inspiration for the fundraiser.

Johnson says, "But I remember him every year especially on this day.  He is the reason for the tournament.  He is the reason.

The tournament has been a success, racking up more donations every year.  Laib and Johnson say they coordinate the tournament every year for a very important purpose, they credit the participants for the tournament's success

The tournament is this Saturday and registration is still open.  So far, they've already raised $650 for the cause.
