Young students from across the state had the opportunity to learn about the states rich history today as the Montana Historical Society celebrated Archaeology Day.
MHS Public Information Officer Tom Cook says about 500 students attended the annual event. He says the event is designed to give kids a hands-on learning experience, and a greater respect for Montana history.
