Terry Randolph makes initial appearance in Justice Court
A man facing felony charges of sexual intercourse without consent and sexual abuse of children made his initial appearance today in court.
Terry Nathaniel Randolph allegedly had sexual intercourse with a 15 year old in December of 2011 and again in August of 2012. According to court documents, Randolph utilized Facebook messaging and a web camera to engage in sexual conduct with the minor.
In an interview on Tuesday, officials say Randolph admitted to engaging in sexual intercourse with the minor on 2 different occasions and using the internet to encourage the minor to engage in sexual conduct.
The 2 felony sexual intercourse without consent charges carry a possibly penalty to 100 years to life in prison. The maximum sentence for sexual abuse of children is 100 years in prison. The judge set Ranolph's bail at $50,000.
