4-H exchange programs meet at fairgrounds
The Montana 4-H Organization is meeting at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds Saturday as a few of Helena's youth prepare to travel abroad, as part of two programs, the Japanese International Exchange and International Farmers Youth Exchange.
Montana students will present what they are learning while participating in either of the two.
Beth Foster, a regional coordinator, says both exchange programs help Montana’s youth learn about Japan and European countries.
Foster said, "They will be presenting to the staff at MSU. People like me, the regional coordinators and also members of the extension staff. The various extension agents will be coming in from other counties."
Foster says they are still looking for families willing to be host homes for foreign exchange students in their inbound program. To find out how to you can get involved Beth Foster can be reached at
