Search and Rescue crews launch boat on Canyon Ferry

Lewis and Clark County Search and Rescue launched its boat around 8:45 this evening to get a group of people who were stranded on Canyon Ferry's Cemetery Island.
Deputy Uriah Wood says six people went out to the island on an inflatable raft earlier today. He says the raft began to lose air and two of the people were able to get back to shore.
They called for help just before 8 p.m. while the other four people were still stuck on the island.
Deputy Wood says he doesn't know the condition of the people on the island.
