Stranded teens brought home

Two Helena teens were rescued this morning after being stuck with their dirt bikes and having to spend the night near Cave Gulch.

Lewis and Clark County Officials say Kody Kottas and Kody Williams, both 18-years-old, called for help around 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. Undersheriff Dave Rau says Search and Rescue wasn't able to get to them with four-wheelers or snowmobiles.

A vehicle with a snow track was able to reach them around 9:30 this morning. The teens kept in contact with the search crew and were able to start a fire while stranded.

Rau says no one was injured.
