The Helena Police Department responded to an armed robbery at a Euclid Avenue video store last night.

Police Chief Troy McGee says they received a call a little before 10 p.m. Tuesday night that two suspects entered the Center Stage video store and demanded money from the clerk. He says the clerk says one suspect produced what she believed to be a handgun. Chief McGee says the clerk described the suspects as males wearing black with nylon-type stockings over their faces and that she thought they were young because of their height, voices and actions. He says the police department is currently looking into some evidence they recovered.

"We're really asking for the community's help on this one, if they've heard anything, anybody's discussed this, or they have any ideas, maybe it's somebody that lives in the area or something, especially if they are younger people, maybe it's somebody that lives out in that area, to please give us a call," says Chief McGee.

Chief McGee says the robbers made off with an undisclosed, but small, amount of money.
