Montana schools receive grants

Superintendent of Public Instruction, Denise Juneau, announced 22 Montana schools will receive grants to increase the number of students who graduate from high school prepared for college and careers.
The $150,000 will support graduation matters initiative across the state. Townsend was among the existing graduation communities that will receive $10,000 for their program.
The OPI reports Helena's graduation rate increased from about 75 percent in 2010 to about 82 percent in 2011.
