New Board of Regents

Governor Brian Schweitzer has announced two new appointments to the Board of Regents.

Pat Williams of Missoula is a former teacher and education administrator and served nine terms as Montana's US representative. After retiring from congress he taught at the University of Montana. Williams' term will last until February of 2019 he replaces Stephen Barrett.

The second appointee is Jeffrey Krauss of Bozeman. His term will last until February of 2015 as he finishes the term of Clayton Christian, who was named Commissioner of Higher Education. Krauss is the Director of Finance and Administration for the Museum of the Rockies. He also served as Gallatin County Treasurer, Bozeman City Commissioner, and Mayor of Bozeman.
