The African Children's Choir dazzled community members at the Helena Alliance Church Friday night.

The children's pastor says the choir started in 1984 to raise awareness about the conditions in Africa.
The organization works to provide thousands of students with a free education.
The kids participating in the program say they are excited to be part of the cause.

"Because they want to grow up and they get a good future."

The group has traveled across the nation and around the globe spreading a message of hope, teaching African culture through dance while helping their families back home.
