1 dead, 2 injured after vehicle plunges into creek

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) -- The Montana Highway Patrol says a 22-year-old man
has died on the Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation after the vehicle he was riding in
plunged off an embankment and into an icy creek.
Police say the Chevy Trailblazer being driven by a 16-year-old female also had
a 15-year-old female passenger when the crash occurred about 2 a.m. Saturday.
Both teenagers were taken to Northern Montana Hospital in Havre with minor
injuries.
Police tell KFBB-TV that none of the people in the vehicle were wearing seatbelts,
and that the man died at the scene.
Police say alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
   Names have not been released.
