GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) -- Ten months after his death, the ashes of Walter
Breuning have been placed in a niche at a mausoleum in Great Falls.
The Great Falls Tribune reports attorney Bob Kampfer, who represents
Breuning's estate, recently completed arrangements to place Breuning’s ashes
at the Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Association's mausoleum.
The urn is adorned with a photo of Breuning, who died on April 14 at the age
of 114, after a nearly two-year stint as the world's oldest man. No funeral
service was held, at Breuning's request.
The urn reads: "Walter Breuning 1896-2011. A wondrous fellow, A distinctive
honor, To have the Title of `Oldest Man Alive."'
