Training for one of the most critical missions of world war two was played out here in Montana.
That was the training of bomber crews in the developing science of strategic bombing.... and the use of the then top-secret Norden bombsight.
It's a fascinating chapter of Montana history.
Joining us to discuss this history is the Community Preservation Coordinator for the Montana Historical Society, Kate Hampton.
We also have the Historian for the Montana Department of Transportation, Jon Axline.
And, our good friend Tom Cook, who is Public Information Officer for the Historical Society.
