Ellens Weathercast

Scattered showers and thunderstorms have begun to creep into the Treasure state and should reach us by late afternoon, into the early evening hours as expected. Most of these should be small and brief, but could still pack a punch. Remember if you are seeing cloud to ground lightning to seek shelter, or get into your vehicle where it is safe.

Tonight I wouldn’t rule out a rumble of thunder or two, but showers should be retreating to our north by sunrise.

Thursday expect mostly sunny skies. There is a small chance for a shower to pop up, but the majority of our viewing area should stay clear.

Friday, thunderstorms are a bit more probable. But otherwise we should see partly cloudy skies, and temperatures near or slightly exceeding 90.

Saturday scattered thunderstorms look like they will roll across the state beginning in the southeastern part of the state and working themselves northeastward.

Enjoy your week; I hope it is filled with Stampede fun. See you on Monday.
