Alcohol. One of mankind's most common indulgences and pleasures. For some, it is a civilized and pleasant refreshment in the hectic pace of life. For others, it can become a demonic substance that rules their lives and the lives of others.

Historically, Montana youths have looked forward to and participated in an alcohol rite of passage, sometimes before reaching legal drinking age.

Today, our panel of guests will discuss the impact of alcohol consumption on our society, in particular, the younger generation... How does it affect them?

Vicki Turner heads the Prevention Resource Center for the Department of Public Health and Human Services.

Colonel Mike Tooley is the Commander for the Montana Highway Patrol.

Drenda Niemann is Director of the Youth Connections Coalition.

Patrick Fisher is a high school student who has been in the forefront of the effort to reduce teen drinking.
