While the attention of most Americans has been focused on the economic struggles and slow recovery in the U.S., the financial problems that are plaguing the European Union are garnering more and more headlines.

First Greece, then Italy and Spain along with Portugal, the news out of Europe has been devastating.

How will this affect the U.S.? Montana? The World?

Dr. Douglas Mackenzie is a Professor of Economics at Carroll College and has joined us to discuss what's going on

in Europe and why we should care about it.
