Class Act: Underwater World
It's a real life version of “Finding Nemo”.
A local business owner is taking his love of fish and educating the minds of Helena youth.
Bob Kavajecz opened underwater world five weeks ago.
“I like to teach real life application to salt water,” said Kavajecz.
From the biology, to clarification of water, to knowing the difference between nitrate and nitrite, Bob is teaching Helena youth about life under the sea.
“Everything relates to real life application,” said Kavajecz.
Bob also plans on doing something special for those who are sick.
“I have contacted the hospital here and they've agreed to take some tanks out when the remodel is done we're going to be putting them in the dialysis unit, they cancer treatment center,” adds Kavajecz.
There will also be once place at the nurses statin. He says fish can even be better than video games.
“If your children have a little bit of trouble getting to sleep you might want to park them in front of one of these for an hour,” said Kavajecz.
His generosity and willingness to teach our future generations life and patience, makes Bob Kavajecz a Class Act.
